I know it's been a minute since you've heard from me, but I've been busy trying to balance life. I'm in my fourth semester of graduate school, am still working full time, and am wrapping up a certificate program that I'll talk more about later, in addition to balancing life. It's just a lot. I'm starting to see a tiny bit of light at the end of the tunnel, however I'm reminding myself not to abandon myself while on the journey of reaching my goals. Hence, make-up therapy!

If you remember my make-up therapy post from a few years ago, then you know that taking time to pause and play in make-up is therapeutic for me. It gives me an avenue to calm my mind and just focus on 'painting my face' like they used to say back in the day. Self-care is the best care, and I'm sharing the details so you'll know how to create a similar look.
Honestly, this day, I thought I was getting ready to head to see Ain't Too Proud, the musical about The Temptations, but I got my days mixed up. Mid way through, I decided that I don't need an occasion to get cute and proceeded to do my my make-up anyway! *snaps fingers*
Make-Up Details:
Earring Details: Simplicity Hoops (Large) by Simone I. Smith Perfume Details: Maison Francis Kurkdjian - Gentle Fluidity Gold
Earring Details: Signature Hoops (Small) by Simone I. Smith
Nail Color: That's UR Perspective Gel Polish by FingerPaints
Got cute again the next day, for the musical, with a slightly different make-up look. I would share the outfit details, but unfortunately the dress is sold out. The musical was amazing!! If its tour stops in a city near you, put it on your to-do list! Ain't Too Proud will be touring until December 2022.
I would see it again if I had time. I'm a huge fan of the arts, which grew when I attended undergraduate school at NC State University. If you're interested in that backstory, check out this blog post.
I hope that you're able to take time to care for yourself, more, in the middle of such traumatic times with everything going on in the world. You deserved to be cared for by you! Don't forget it and I'll try to do the same.
