Creating this editorial has been a childhood dream realized. I have been an overachiever for as long as I can remember. I was raised by excellence, so excellence became my standard. My parents belief in me, from an early age, built an unbreakable confidence that allows me to pursue my passions, relentlessly.
My love for narrative writing was bestowed upon me by my mother, a former English teacher with an MBA, creating the foundation for a pivotal moment at Young Authors’ Night in elementary school. As I read my work aloud, I heard my father’s command from the crowd: “I can’t hear you, speak up.” That advice pushed me to restart with confidence, sharing about my work with immense pride.
With my creative abilities growing, I enrolled in a yearbook course where I earned the opportunity to write for the Charlotte Observer, at just 13 years old. Covering the NBA as a student journalist, I learned to produce quality work that demanded a tight turnaround. During those same formative years, I sold Avon, gaining beauty industry experience strengthened through mentorship where I used my charm to build confidence in women through ethical saleswomanship.
That creative prowess expanded the moment I received my first desktop computer in middle school. Using Scrapbook Factory software, I spent countless hours visualizing a lifestyle magazine in print. In 2020, that dream manifested in the digital medium.
A destiny realized.
So MoTiFFated was a driving force behind my earning a Master of Business Administration in Digital Marketing in 2024; pairing my creative passion with elite business strategy is what makes this space so unique.

Perfume is always one of the things that's like an invisible statement, but visually speaking it's a bold red lipstick. The name of the brand doesn't matter! As long as it's bold and beautiful, this EIC is happy!
Do I wear Sneakers with dresses?

Absolutely! While I love a good stiletto, sneakers have always been an affinity of mine. Having to create a sales pitch to share with my parents to get my first pair of trendy sneakers, my love of kicks is something that will never waiver.
