The name alone drew me to this product! As someone who loves wearing gold jewelry, particularly yellow gold, I knew I needed to head to Bath & Body Works to give their new collection a sniff. Walking into the store and immediately seeing the gold display was a welcomed surprise! The display at my local store had the full-sized items front and center and I loved analyzing the packing on each product as they are all different but maintain cohesion.
For me, yellow gold just pops off my complexion so beautifully and I wanted to know if their new Touch of Gold fragrance was going to make me feel as good as I do when I put that ish on! I’m talking as moisturized and vibrant as the above Instragram photo.
If you got reminded of Trinidad James’ 2012 hit song, All Gold Everything, when you saw the name of this collection then I love that for you!
Even if it didn’t remind you of that song, I hope that wearing gold and/or smelling like gold makes you as happy as this Mr. T gif!

Honestly, there isn’t a particular fragrance note that I think about when I think of gold. It just has to provide a feeling that ignites my joy and sparks a feeling of radiance!

Tiffany’s Take
At first, I smell the bright blackberries. It is a strong scent and it calms down so that the oranges can get their minutes of fame. Thankfully, they showed up and aren’t overpowered by the blackberry note. On the third whiff, tonka bean made her presence known and decided to work for her check instead of being a background lip syncer. On the dry down, she starting singing like a band member who wants to get paid for her concert! Keep in mind that tonka bean notes are not truly my scent, so if I don’t smell to analyze that note, this one is a beautiful scent! I later returned to B&BW to smell other fragrances, and someone sprayed Touch of Gold and I immediately started discussing with that person how Touch of Gold smells so good.
As someone who grew up loving perfume, I often think when I smell a fancy perfume “Is this suitable for the Sunday best?” Answer: Yes! Whether you’re getting ready to go on a date with yourself, your friends, or the good Lord on Sunday, you’re good! I do feel this one is on the fancier side, so it gives off using it for a special occasion. Now, if every day is your special occasion, then you can wear it daily! Touch of Gold Collection

The last perfume bottle, actual perfume not body mist, that I purchased from Bath & Body Works was In the Stars in 2018. That one had strong staying power, which is expected of a perfume. As this a staple in this golden collection, it meeting my expection gave me high hopes for these products!
