Bath & Body Works released another scent, Infinite Radiance, in their Everyday Luxuries collection on October 20. They keep dropping bangers and I’m here for it all. I am surprised that they only released one scent this go ‘round, but I’m happy that they chose to duplicate the graceful scent of Valaya by Parfums de Marly (PDM). This is my fifth beauty article covering the Bath & Body Works (B&BW) Everyday Luxuries collection, and my articles have received 51.5k views and counting! I’ve been steadfast in saying that this collection has saved money for so many, and it’s great that the analytics back that sentiment. This is their second PDM dupe as Bath & Body Works has kept Covered in Roses on their roster for over a year. If you like roses, it’s a beautiful option for you. As shown below, its bottle cap is more plain than the latest dupe in Infinite Radiance. Surprisingly, they didn’t upcharge us for the luxurious design! One reason that I love the Everyday Luxuries collection is because it helps to expose me to perfumes that I never heard of previously. I have not spent $400+ on a bottle of perfume and the Parfums de Marly brand tends to run that expensive, so the name of the dupe’s scent twin was not even on my radar. But, when it comes to my audience I love to do research then compare on my own! This reddit thread was a great help. It’s great to see Bath & Body Works consumers getting excited about another release. Within the aforementioned thread, BBW consumers commented “PDM Valaya?!??! clutches wallet. This has been on my list for the last year....I talked myself out of getting it during Nordies Anniversary sale.” Others were skeptical about its pricing and if it was going to be a higher price due to the decorative mist cap on Infinite Radiance. The beauty is that they didn’t upcharge us for the fancier bottle, the standard price for both body mists is $18.95. Infinite Radiance by Bath & Body Works The beautiful thing about Bath & Body Works is that their dupes tend to be sweeter than the real thing (designer). That got me into trouble when I lowkey created a Scent & Sweets series. When I covered Inner Angel (B&BW) & Angel’s Share by Kilian, I grabbed a caramel apple cider cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes, because that’s how those fragrances made me feel. Then for the Milk Bar Birthday Cake release, I grabbed a birthday cake flavored cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory because I never tasted that flavor before and I wanted to be accurate in my analysis when comparing the flavor to the scent. My waistline said, “ENOUGH,” so for this review it’s strictly business! Haha. I’m putting me first ALL 2025!! Infinite Radiance Fragrance Notes:
It’s still softer than Valaya, but she holds her own in a great way! The mandarin note pops and sandalwood gives it great balance. What stands out to me is the muguet note, which is a French word for lily. That floral note adds the finishing touch, allowing for it to be soft and sensual. This is easily an everyday scent! It’s remarkable enough to wear on a movie date and relaxing enough to wear to yoga. I find it soft enough that I’ve started wearing it every day like I did when I first bought Free As A Flower. As I was testing the scents, in-store, I wore the body cream for Infinite Radiance on my hands while wearing the Eau de Parfum for Valaya and it smelt edible! Valaya by Parfums de MarlyValaya (Parfums de Marly) Fragrance Notes:
This one is incredibly long-lasting and it’s stronger! The musk note is prominent and is one of the first notes that I smelled, regardless of it being in the base note. It packs a punch with soft citrus as the combination of bergamot and orange flower are a dynamic duo. The peach scent is faint and is a soft touch. Those other fancy notes aren’t worth mentioning, but know that they smell is amazing! When I sprayed it on a scent stick in the mall, more than two days later I could still smell it vividly. I’m talking about as I went to the area of my house where the scent stick was located, it basically acted like aromatherapy. Outside of how it lasted on a piece of paper, when I sprayed it on my forearm it lasted for hours. I’m talking turning heads in the mall and having folks asking me the name of my perfume. Even once I went home and took a shower, the scent remained for a while. For it to still be faint after a shower, you know it has to be amazing. I can see why they charge as much as they do . . . even if it’s a $410 priced point. This is one of my favorite dupes in the Everyday Luxuries collection! Knowing what I know about myself, the softer scents that smell bold will always have a place in my heart. I purchased the Infinite Radiance body mist during a full-sized bottle sale for $5.95, and once the body cream goes on sale for that same price then I’ll purchase it as well. As I’m encouraging you to save money, I’ll be doing so myself! WATCH MORE FROM SO MOTIFFATED: READ MORE FROM SO MOTIFFATED:Not subscribed?
