Attention please. Attention please! Bath & Body Works recently brought back three scents featured in last year’s Everyday Luxuries collection. I noticed it weeks ago when I visited the store to grab my birthday item. Since I’m in there all the time finding fun scents to review to share with you, a staffer pointed out to me the returning fragrances. I must say, I am a bit disappointed. While I got on their renowned dupe train a year late, it was fun seeing their new drops and investigating the scent matches in 2025. This go ‘round, they literally re-released last year’s spring collection with the omission of Pistachio Glaze. That review can be read here.

In this U.S. economy, it’s fair to say that we’re all grateful to save money where we can. I see the headlines of people getting affected by mass layoffs this year and last. As someone who got laid off the day before my MBA graduation, those times bring about a great deal of uncertainty. Prayerfully, that pivot worked in my favor as it led me to running this editorial full-time. If you’re in a season of shift, hang in there and remember that you still are very much deserving of being pampered. More so now, actually. I firmly believe that smelling like a million bucks shouldn’t cost you a million bucks.
It takes a tribe. This digital editorial provides high-vibrancy journalism without a paywall. As an independent publication, we thrive on reader support. Whether a one-time tip or a monthly gift, pledge your support via the pink button above. Your readership is valued!
The beautiful thing is these dupes are sweeter. Sometimes perfumes with deep musk notes can be overwhelming to my senses. I appreciate the Everyday Luxuries collection for carrying fragrances that typically have an airiness to them that joyfully shape the tone for my days. I know that if I smell good, I’ll be alright. In moments of stress, when I need to hold space for calm, having a great fragrance serves as aromatherapy and my nervous system thanks me. That is what one wants out of any fragrance, a feeling. Keep reading to see which one makes me feel the best as I own two out of the three.
Dupe: Strawberry Flirt | Inspiration: Strawberry Letter by Phlur
I love strawberry flavored foods and have especially been loving the strawberries and cream pie at McDonalds’ lately! I just never really took to loving strawberry flavored fragrance. However, on dessert it tastes great! I know there are so many folks that loving eating a snack and smelling like a snack too so I’m reviewing this for you.

Strawberry Letter is definitely a burst of strawberries that hits your nose in a bold manner. Its fragrance notes containing cassis leaf added depth that gives it soul. Cassis is personal to me as I used to have a Raspberry Cassis Reed Diffuser from Archipelago at my desk at a previous job. After looking up the symbolism of the leaf, that comes from a blackcurrant shrub, now knowing that it carries association with protection and abundance, I know it was that scent and Jesus himself that kept me sane working in that industry. That note being smack dab in the middle prior to the apple blossom coming into play, made this one more manageable.
Whether you call a fragrance a dupe or inspired by, you’re looking for that fragrance to closely mirror its designer muse. Bath & Body Works did their job with this one! What continues to amaze me about their scent engineering is that they include difference key notes but get the fragrance in the ballpark. As mentioned at the top of this article, their versions tend to be sweeter so its note addition of cotton candy musk reiterated that point. If you’re a fan of their Strawberry Pound Cake body mist, you should like this one as well.
Dupe: All Eyes On Her | Inspiration: Burberry HER Elixir
Burberry is a great brand to be duped. I vividly remember being in love with Burberry Classic when I was younger and have repurchased it several times as an adult. That classic had several notes, including peach, apricot, sandalwood, cedarwood, etc. You can probably tell by this point of the review that I love a note that adds depth and wood notes typically do that for me and this muse/match pairing is no exception.

While there are several versions of Burberry Her, to my nose, Burberry Her Elixir is its closest dupe match. In additional to its warmth of amber and sandalwood, it leads with the enticing notes of strawberry and blackberry accord, jasmine, and vanilla. It’s an Eau de Parfum, which of course lasts longer than a body mist, so your presence will be felt for longer. It’s the type of scent that you would feel comfortable wearing for all occasions, from a brunch date with your girlfriends to a dinner date with your boyfriend.
This one has been a constant in my fragrance collection since I purchased it last year. As you can see from my video review above, there is something about the name of this dupe that makes me want to rap like Tupac when he dropped his hit album and single, All Eyez on Me. Its smell is distinct, yet beautiful, very close to its muse. Its bold blackberry is what hits your nose at first whiff, the jasmine is present but not enough for it to be a full on floral but it does add balance to the fruit. Again, sandalwood adds the depth that makes it captivating. Not only to my nose but it captivates the noses of others as well. I wore this scent upon grabbing tea with a former colleague at a new-to-me coffee shop in Charlotte, and as I was ordering my beverage the barista said “oh, you smell good.” I love a good scent compliment! That morning I drenched myself in All Eyes on Her’s body mist and moisturized with its body cream to make the scent last. This is one that I add into my rotation every so often and it is always fun addition.
Imperfect Beauty | Inspiration: Perfect by Marc Jacobs
Prior to last year, I had not smelled any of Marc Jacobs perfumes but I was a fan of the brand. They have beautiful crossbody bags with their double “J” that I adore, given my last name starts with that letter. Scent matching introduced me to Perfect by Marc Jacobs Beauty and I’m grateful that it did because I love its dupe!
MORE PLACES TO SHOP:
Perfect is a floral with character as its almond milk note inclusion makes it creamy while the cashmere note smooths it out in the end. If you are not familiar with cashmere fragrance, it has to be one of the best notes for calming your nervous system. There are so many body care scents that have cashmere in them, one of my favorites being EOS Vanilla Cashmere: The Perfect Vanilla Bean Noel Dupe. Though Perfect’s key note specifically states cashmeran, it’s really one in the same. The notes concocted in this Eau de Parfum makes it beautiful. It is one to wear on a Saturday night in spring to a hands-on activity like painting with a sip. You’ll have your spirits high and will be calm enough to paint like a professional while having fun.
This dupe from last year is one that was initially incorporated more in my rotation than All Eyes on Her. I could not get enough of it and my body cream is nearing its last, but it has been worth each use. For this one in particular, I love it because of its name. I truly believe that every woman has value and there is beauty in our uniqueness. These days, especially, there seem to be so many enhancements of the body to claim some false sense of perfectionism that doesn’t exist. You are perfect as you are intended to be in this world. You born that way is more than enough. Keeping your characteristics yours, truly makes you standout from the rest. That’s what I continuously think when I put on this scent. It’s a love song to my skin as the moisture of the body cream grips to my thickness and cellulite and I prepare to conquer the days.
Given that Bath & Body Works’ Imperfect Beauty mimicked Perfect so closely, without including a nut note is astounding. A lot of folks have allergies of varying sensitivity levels, which can trigger a reaction, so in that regard its removal widens the access of an industry favorite without the extra price. Not going to lie, when I saw rhubarb in its notes, I was taken aback. Having worked at the grocery store as a cashier in high-school, that produce item always caught me off guard because it was never popular and it doesn’t look appealing. Yet, it works in this scent. That must be the “sweet” part of rhubarb and it paired with white florals makes it a go-to spring scent. Why Everyday Luxuries Works
I am forever grateful to Bath & Body Works’ Everyday Luxuries collection for existing as through my coverage of them, I’ve been able to expand my audience for this digital editorial, globally. Them duping designer favorites and cult classics has surely helped tens of thousands to save money and smell well, and I know that to be true from my site’s traffic. So many times, I’ve been out and about and I’ve been asked what fragrance I’m wearing as folks think it’s their favorite designer perfume, but it’s not. It’s probably their favorite designer dupe and they just don’t know it yet. As close as Bath & Body Works’ gets to the main thing, you know concessions have to be made. Theirs lend sweeter and softer, which a subscriber on my YouTube channel mentioned she is fine with for the cost savings. Honestly, so am I as they are major.
Take Valaya by Parfums de Marly vs. Bath & Body Works’ Infinite Radiance for example. The former is $410 and the latter is $18.95. On a good day, Bath & Body Works’ will have a sale that brings it down to $5.95 on full-size body care items. I own nearly every dupe in the collection, and if I have their designer matches then I’ll pair the dupe lotion with the designer fragrance as done with Baccarat Rouge 540. Whichever option you choose, you should not be disappointed!
Which scent from this Everyday Luxuries collection will make it to your vanity?
