I’ve made a new habit out of scrolling through the Bath & Body Works app to check in on their latest products. I’m glad that I did it on September 13, because I discovered their new bright collaboration with Milk Bar in celebration of their 35th anniversary a.k.a. their birthday! B&BW opened its first flagship store in a mall in 1990 on the same day as this collab’s release. What I appreciate about this collaboration is that it gave me a reason to get out the house, get dolled up to film content for my YouTube channel and go on a solo date. Details listed below. I’ve been wanting to try Milk Bar products for a while now, so getting to see their logo on a product in my hand was thrilling! The next best thing aside from eating their sweets. I earned an MBA degree in Digital Marketing, so I’m ALL about branding! How Milk Bar boldly rocks its pink is a vibe for me. You can tell I love pink from my brand colors, so it made reviewing these products more fun! This Bath & Body Works + Milk Bar collab is being marketed as an “Rewards Member Early Access” offer. Unlike it alludes, it’s not an exclusive drop for its members. Meaning, that you won’t get denied if you go in to purchase a product and you’re not a part of their free loyalty program. Tiffany Tries It: Trip to Cheesecake Factory to Taste Birthday Cake Flavored Treat I have never tried birthday cake flavored anything. I’ve always seen people online detailing how much they love the flavor whether it be in cookies, cake pops, actual cake, ice cream, etc. In order to provide you with the best review, I took a trip to the Cheesecake Factory to try their “Celebration Cheesecake” to get a frame of reference. Of course, Milk Bar has their own birthday cake flavored products but their locations are in New York. I was not about to pay shipping and handling on their products when Cheesecake Factory was running a $5 slice deal! Tiffany’s Take It tasted SPOT ON to how the birthday cake scent smelled at Bath & Body Works! You can see from the picture, that the cheesecake mirrors Birthday Cake’s fragrance notes: Layered Vanilla Cake, Creamy Frosting, and Rainbow Sprinkles. Get into the sweetness of it all! If you have been following my site for a while, then you would know that I’m not necessarily a food scents type of person. Meaning, I wouldn’t walk around smelling like snickerdoodle. Love the food, but will pass on the perfume. In that regard, I feel like this collaboration is best suited for kids. Middle school age seems ideal for this scent. It’s a scent that is light, youthful, and sweet! Don’t come for me though, because if you’re grown and you want to walk around smelling like birthday cake, have your way! When in the store, someone mentioned that this collaboration smells similar to B&BW’s “Happy Birthday” fragrance that they released in 2022. If you liked that scent, then this one might be for you. Milk Bar Birthday Cake Products (As of September 13, 2025 Release)Due to this being a brand collaboration, I did notice that the prices in this collection are slightly higher than those of typical B&BW products. I first noticed it with their body mist being a dollar more than their Everyday Luxuries collection and $2 more than most others. In this economy, every dollar counts. Shop wisely! 3-Wick Candle, $27.95 The packaging on their candle is adorable! If you want hours upon hours of birthday cake scents in your home, do your thing.  Fine Fragrance Mist (8 oz), 19.95 What I love about this collaboration is its attention to detail! The dip tube on the inside of the full body mist looks like a candy cane with pink stripes. It’s inviting and fun, and makes smelling good a cheerful experience. Fine Fragrance Mist (2.5 oz), 10.95 This dip tube is in line with B&BW’s norm, so no candy cane vibes, but they did switch up the packaging on this product with horizontal imagery, including graphics of cake slices and circle sprinkles. It’s a cute option to keep in your purse!  Foaming Hand Soap (8.75oz), $8.95 The bright pink nature and its packaging on the soap dispenser is one that’s meant to be kept fully on display! Don’t go blocking its view with their decorated soap holders. I’m tempted to buy one, just to refill it with my go to soap scent. Of course I have a pink bathroom!  Ultimate Hydration Body Cream (8 oz), $19.95 With this being a limited release, for now, be mindful that they don’t have a lotion. Personally, my preference will always be their body cream because it’s thicker and more moisturizing.  Body Wash (10 oz), $17.95 Their body wash was part of their display when I was in the store, but in browsing their website while writing this blog post it isn’t listed online. You may have luck finding this product in-store!  Hand Sanitizer Spray (1 oz), $3.95 + Sanitizer Spray Holder ($14.95) Now, I am a fan of spray hand sanitizer because hand sanitizer gel leaves your hands feeling thick after several applications. I feel more clean when I use hand sanitizer spray, so the $3.95 price point for a branded product is reasonable for B&BW. On the other hand . . . $14.95 for a case to hold the hand sanitizer is too rich for my blood. Are we all millionaires? Haha. Do you, boo! For 14.90, you could have the hand sanitizer and the mini body mist! However, if you want to fully live in the experience of this Milk Bar collaboration, I’m not mad at ya! The holder apparently doubles as a lip product holder as well. So, walking around with a dainty holder for your lipstick is very posh, especially if you love Milk Bar’s products!
