Editor’s Note: The dupe game just leveled up! While the 2025 classics are below, January 2026 brought about new scents, including a dupe of Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy!
Read More: 6 Scents, 5 New Muses: Decoding 2026's Bath & Body Works Designer Inspired Dupes Something in my spirit told me to stop by Bath & Body Works (BBWI) recently. I checked their app and saw they had an $11.95 3-Wick Candle special, but when I arrived, I was greeted by their staff with a “hey girl” and they spilled the tea. They had an email exclusive sale running on their Everyday Luxuries collection. Yes! Everything in its collection for $5.95! This was done to promote its latest drop. At this point, they are the Crumbl Cookies of perfume. Dropping new releases nearly every quarter and they are always a surprise! Just like Crumbl, they mixed the old with the new.
Midnight Addiction, a dupe for YSL Black Opium, was mentioned in my initial dupe blog post where I described that as not being my scent. It still isn’t, so it won’t be included in detail now. It continues to be on store shelves and is listed as top seller on BBWI’s website. So, if you like notes of plum, almond flower, and coffee beans, then it might be your scent!
Covered in Roses, a dupe for Parfums de Marly’s Delina, is the OG of this collection. It seems to outlast them all because folks love rose scents and it’s so much cheaper than spending $390 on the designer bottle. Well, it was $390 when I wrote about it in March. However, inflation is inflating. As I type, it is now $410. No wonder it’s easy to see why people are infatuated with this dupe collection. They say “inspired by” for legal reasons, but we all know they’re working to engineer duplicates for a price that meets their consumers needs. We thank them!
Although they released three new dupes this go ‘round. They re-introduced one from 2024. So, lucky for me, I get to go into detail about four Everyday Luxuries scents.
Pink Obsessed, Similar to Donna Born in Roma by Valentino
I smelled Pink Obsessed first and it smelled familiar. As I have studied the history of this collection, deeply, I knew right away this was one that was brought back. However, I couldn’t put my finger on the corresponding dupe. Of course, it came to me after I left the store. Its scent twin is supposed to be Donna Born in Roma. Now, since you’re my audience and I love you, I’ll be frank in saying this isn’t a spot on option . . . initially. It’s more like a fraternal twin, rather than identical. Donna is still the stronger option and she’s bolder too. Pink, on the other hand, is the shy one that’s hanging near her confident sister hoping to emulate the swag. It still smells great!
In Pink Obsessed, the jasmine note is prevalent, but not overpowering as the cashmere note pairs well with it and provides a nice balance. The vanilla note is faint, but is present and accounted for like a student working to meeting their attendance requirement. Right out the starting blocks, Donna Born in Roma is mixed with all the good things! It has a more in-depth list of fragrance notes, so it has more spice and adventure. Its middle notes have THREE different types of jasmine. On the contrary, Pink Obsessed pulled from Donna’s middle and base notes.
Pink Obsessed by Bath & Body Works
Key Notes: Blushing Jasmine, Cashmere Praline, and Vanilla Bourbon Fragrance Family: Botanicals & Blooms
Donna Born in Roma by Valentino
Key Notes: - Top: Blackcurrant Accord, Bergamot Essence - Middle: Jasmine Grandiflorum Absolute, Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Jasmine Tea - Base: Bourbon Vanilla, Cashmeran, Guaic Wood Essence Fragrance Family: Floral & Woody Free As A Flower, Similar to Libre by Yves Saint Laurent
I sprayed this dupe second and it was love at first smell! This is an everyday and every season scent! It quickly became my nighttime scent, and I will likely buy the lotion as well. You can tell how much I love it because the cover photo of this blog article shows it being less full than the other mists. Free As A Flower smells fresh. It feels like a soft perfume a.k.a. “smell good” that I would reach for prior to church service on Sunday. As mentioned in my Ballantyne Spa Review, I’m a lover of all things lavender. So, there is no surprise that this is one of my favorites. Its notes pair well together and none of them are fighting for attention. If you were a fan of Bath & Body Works discontinued scent, Guilty as Fig, then Free As A Flower should work well for you!
YSL Libre smells luxurious as you would imagine! While Free As A Flower and the former are interchangeable, I can tell a difference in Libre’s musk accord note. The creamy vetiver note in Free As A Flower provides it with a powdery aroma on the dry down, which is beautiful! Mind you, I’m sniffing these two scents very closely to determine a difference for you. Personally, I don’t have Libre by Yves Saint Laurent and am more than happy to own the dupe.
Free As A Flower by Bath & Body Works
Key Notes: Wild Orange Flower, Bright Lavender, and Creamy Vetiver Fragrance Family: Botanicals & Blooms Libre by Yves Saint Laurent Key Notes: Lavender Essence, Orange Blossom, Musk Accord Fragrance Family: Warm & Floral Inner Angel, Similar to Angels' Share by Kilian Paris
Prior to smelling this dupe third, a Bath & Body Works associate let me know this one was her favorite. I was still stuck on Free As A Flower being my new favorite, but she had a point. As soon as I smelled Inner Angel, it reignited a scent memory but I couldn’t remember it’s origin. Then it dawned on me that my friend owns Angels’ Share by Kilian! I asked her to bring it with her once when we met, just so that I could give it a smell. That definitely saved me a trip to a department store’s perfume section.
Both Inner Angel and Angels’ Share’s aroma are perfect for the upcoming fall season. This dupe is one of the closest possible! Their essence reminds me of a warm cup of apple cider that I’ve received after a breezy afternoon of apple picking at an apple orchid. I appreciate how Inner Angel’s fragrance notes reflect the actual smell of Angels’ Share. When I smelled my friend’s Angel Share bottle this January, we were trying to place where we knew the scent. We concluded that it was apple, but that wasn’t listed anywhere in Angels’ Share’s notes. The straight-to-the point matter of Inner Angel is tailored more to my liking. So, it’s my winner!
Inner Angel by Bath & Body Works
Key Notes: Spiced Apple Cognac, Tonka Bean, and Warm Praline Fragrance Family: Treats & Sweets Angels’ Share by Kilian Key Notes: Cognac, Tonka Bean, and Oak Wood Fragrance Family: Warm & Spicy Mediterranean Mirage, Similar to Erba Pura by Xerjoff
Now, this scent is different than my norm. I’m not a woman that loves musky scent, but I do enjoy a good amber fragrance note. Honestly, bergamot is still an acquired scent for me. I adore a spicy scent, but bergamots level of spiciness is unique. That being said, I still paid $5.95 to buy this mist to provide you with my honest review. It smells gusty!
Mediterranean Mirage is bold enough to be worn on a first date when wearing a little black dress and an open toe stiletto. She’s a head turner whose dry down is soft and sensual. It’s a perfect situation for romance. This isn’t surprising because the designer fragrance that this dupe was designed after is Erba Pura by Xerjoff, which is sold at luxury departments stores such as Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales. In Erba Pura, its base note of vanilla bean and its middle note of Mediterranean fruit basket set it apart from its dupe. That allows for it to dry down sweeter than the Bath & Body Works version and will definitely kick your date night up a notch. However, if you catch Mediterranean Mirage when it's on sale for $5.95, that’s still a smart choice. FYI - T.J. Maxx does have a 3-piece Xerjoff Discovery Eau De Parfum set if you’re interested. It contains a 0.5 oz bottle of Erba Pura along with two other scents, and promotes an $120 discount from department store prices.

Creating these Bath & Body Works dupe articles has been such a joy! Knowing that I’ve helped so many women save money has brought a smile to my face. Seeing the analytics is one thing, but sharing about it in person allows me to receive the interpersonal connection. When at the spa this week, I was working on my blog and shared all four scents with a fellow spa-goer. She was STUNNED! She knew nothing about the Everyday Luxuries collection and mentioned that she always loved the smell of YSL Libre, but never purchased it because of the price tag. As someone that gets a thrill out of saving money, I’m happy to encourage you to be financially conscious as well!
If you have purchased or plan to purchase any fragrance that I’ve listed above, please share which one in the comments below.
