The queen of dupes is back with another breakdown of luxury for less. This economy is something, isn’t it? As someone who has always hunted for deals, loved couponing, and embraced price matching to lock in great offers, it seems like that hobby is becoming a necessity for so many.
Yes, you see the celebrities and major influencers on social media, but realistically, they are getting paid hefty advertising fees to promote those luxury products. On this blog, that isn't my reality . . . yet. Know that the products I’m sharing with you are those I have spent hours researching myself. While I have shopped at Dollar Tree since I was a child, that cart usually contained greeting cards, snacks, and toys. Branching out can be hard when it’s not your norm. I take pride in being bougie — it’s so fun for me — and being bougie on a budget falls squarely within my personal brand. Still, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t initially look at these discount beauty products and hope my testing wouldn't turn me into a frog.

Last fall, I was eating at a Hwy 55 Burger, Shakes, and Fries, when I saw a sheriff enter the restaurant to order food. There is something about saving money that increases my serotonin and gets me excited for the day. While yes, some of these cost savings have minimal ranges such as saving $8, that is very much the price of two gallons of gas for your car. The larger difference of over $60 is self-explanatory. I learned a long time ago in undergrad that while individual items might not seem that bad, when they’re all ringing up it’s a different story. My MBA mind loves to see the opportunity cost of choosing dupes, so enjoy this chart and make the decision that works best for you!
